Blackwater No.5 Gin

Blackwater No. 5 is a classic London Dry Gin, distilled from the purest spirit, the finest botanicals and soft local water. It balances the confident juniper notes of a traditional London Dry with bright coriander, warm cinnamon and zesty lemon. Blackwater No. 5 is crisp and elegant, great as a G&T, excellent in a cocktail.

Blackwater No.5 Gin Basil Smash
The Blackwater No.5 Gin Basil Smash is a modern classic cocktail that’s refreshing, delicious, and so easy to make at home! This simple gin cocktail uses just four ingredients: Blackwater No.5 Gin, fresh basil, sugar syrup and lemon juice, and promises to be a smash hit.
- 50ml Blackwater No.5 Gin
- 22.5ml Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 22.5ml sugar syrup (boil one part water to one part sugar, then cool)
- 7 fresh Basil leaves
Roughly tear 5-6 fresh basil leaves into your cocktail shaker. Add sugar syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice and Blackwater No.5 Gin. Add ice and shake for 8-10 seconds. To serve, add ice to your favourite glass, double strain the cocktail into the glass, garnishing with a fresh basil leaf on top.
