Back in 2016 we made a one-off seasonal gin, and every year since we’ve had requests to bring it back. So we listened and Blackwater Wild Irish Hedgerow Gin is again back in stock.
Inspired by the autumn hedgerows in West Waterford, this gin liqueur is made by soaking fresh sloes, damsons, crab apples and blackberries in our award-winning gin. After a three month maceration, we gently sweeten with some sugar and bottle. That’s it.
The mix of hedgerow fruits ensures this spirit is more complex and less sweet than regular sloe gin. Sipped on its own, drunk as a hot toddy or served to accompany a local cheese board, this is a real fireside treat.
Produced in very limited quantities, Blackwater Wild Irish Hedgerow Gin is a wonderful seasonal treat.
Sip it on its own, drink as a hot toddy or with your favourite crackers and cheese.
