Recently did the distillery tour here, great set up and very interesting history behind the distillery. John really knows his stuff and is an excellent guide. Some great whiskey and gins on offer too. Would highly recommend the tour (especially if you live local). And if not the tour I’d highly recommend buying a bottle of whiskey, gin, vodka or Poitín from here, all unbelievable.

We had a great time at the Blackwater distillery. Although we came by spontaneously and without any booking we were invited in. There we had a nice chat with the co-owner and go to taste the entire selection of gin, vodka and whiskey. Also the master distiller was called in to show us around. It was fabulous. Everyone was so welcoming and the products were very tasty.

A must stop if you’re in the area! John and Peter were incredibly knowledgeable. Gave us great recommendations for the area and beyond. Lots of good stuff to taste and sweet dogs to pet. Will be going home with a bottle of The Full Irish :)

Afgelopen week in de distillery geweest.  We hebben een zeer gezellige tijd gehad en      het was leerzaam. John heeft ons meegenomen in de historie van de ierse whiskey en de tasting was heerlijk. John bedankt voor de ervaring en we komen zeker terug
