Tour Overview
Located within a refurbished 1950’s hardware store in Ballyduff village, West Waterford on the banks of the Blackwater River (15 mins from Lismore Castle, 35 minutes from Midleton), our new distillery is renowned nationally and internationally for its innovative approach to creating a diverse range of award-winning contemporary Irish spirits.
Our guided tour enables guests to explore our working distillery and discover the ancient art of Irish whisky and gin production. Witness the skill and passion that goes into each of our spirits. Experience first-hand the sound, smell and feel of a fully operational distillery and enjoy a tutored tasting at our gallery bar.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Smoking is not permitted within 300 metres of the distillery. This includes all vapes and e cigarettes. -
Our premises are fully wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific access requirements, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to help you.

Blackwater Distillery is ideally suited to adults. All guests will be accompanied by a Blackwater Distillery employee
for the duration of their visit

Children aged 0-17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Under no circumstances can children partake
in alcohol tasting sessions or master classes.

The distillery is an industrial setting. It may therefore be very hot, or very cold! As we used to say in the boy
scouts be prepared’.
