What is the Blackwater Tasters Club?
Blackwater Tasters is an exclusive spirits club where the members receive two seasonal and unique spirits delivered to their door every two months.
Who are we?
This subscription club has been created by Blackwater Distillery and we are located in the village of Ballyduff Upper, in the beautiful countryside of West Waterford.
Why sign up?
This is a fantastic gift for you or a loved one were you will receive two uniquely crafted spirits direct from our distillery every 2 months. These spirits will be seasonal in nature and are exclusive to club members only. For example, our October Tasters Club included Windfall Apple Spiced Gin and Wexford Blackcurrant Cassis and the December Tasters Box will include Christmas Pudding Gin and Cranberry Vodka. All in all, this is a remarkable and distinctive subscription club for spirit lovers.
Where are the Blackwater Tasters Club spirits produced?
The spirits are created in small batches in our distillery in Ballyduff, West Waterford by our innovative head distiller John Wilcox and our talented gin distiller & co-founder, Kieran Curtin.
Is the box packaging recyclable?
It is 100% recyclable cardboard.

Subscription FAQ
What comes in my subscription box?
The subscription box includes 2x200ml bottles and a cocktail card recipe for each spirit. It also includes an invitation to our live Facebook tastings, and the 6 and 12 month subscription offer a free distillery tour for you and a friend (once Covid-19 restrictions allow).
How often will I receive my subscription box?
Every 2 months.
I received my subscription box as a gift, how do I get on your club email list?
To sign up to our club email list, simple follow this link and select club member.
If I order the 6 month or 12 month box will there be a recurring charge?
No, there is a one-time payment of €105 and €185 for the 6 and 12 month subscription respectively.
Live Online Club Tastings
What happens on this night?
On the live tastings of the Blackwater Tasters Club, our founders Peter, Caroline, and Kieran will go through the process that went into making each spirit which will include input from our head distiller, John Wilcox. It will also include a cocktail tutorial on each spirit from our award-winning mixologist and Blackwater ambassador, John Coleman.
Is it recorded?
Yes, the live recording will be released on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube after the event.
How do I find out what night it is?
We will release the tasting date on your club box card, via email and through our social media channels. It will be available to view live on Facebook and YouTube.
Shipping FAQ
Can I collect my box from the distillery?
No, unfortunately the boxes are sent out through our delivery partners UPS.
How much is shipping for the box?
Shipping is free for all subscription boxes within the Republic of Ireland. Shipping costs vary for the UK and select EU countries.
Which countries do you ship to?
Ireland, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy.
Will I receive my subscription box before Christmas?
Yes, if ordered by the 16th December, it will be delivered before Christmas.
